Head of Human Resources



Purpose:

The Head of Human Resources is responsible for leading and developing the Group’s HR function in Switzerland and internationally. Reporting directly to Executive Management, the role acts as a strategic business partner, ensuring effective people management, compliance with applicable labor law in all countries where Leclanché has operations, and alignment of HR strategy with the Company’s business objectives.

Role & Responsibilities:

Global HR Leadership & Strategy
• Define and implement the HR strategy in line with the Company’s overall business strategy.
• Act as a trusted advisor to Executive Management and line managers on organizational design, workforce planning, leadership, and change management.
• Lead, develop, and structure the global HR team, ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Global HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, development, performance management, and exits) in Switzerland and across all international locations.
• Ensure consistent HR processes and standards across the Group, adapted to local legal requirements.
• Manage external HR partners and service providers globally.
Payroll, Systems & Reporting
• Manage the outsourced payroll provider and ensure accurate, compliant, and timely monthly payroll processing in Switzerland and in all other countries where Leclanché has operations except Germany.
• Lead the global implementation and optimization of HRIS and related tools; ensure high-quality HR data and reporting.
• Provide regular global HR dashboards, KPIs, and ad-hoc reports to Executive Management.
Global Compensation, Benefits & Performance
• Design, implement, and manage compensation and benefits structures, including salary frameworks, bonus schemes, and long-term incentive plans.
• Conduct salary benchmarks and market analyses and provide clear recommendations.
• Oversee performance management processes, talent identification, succession planning, and development initiatives.
Policies, Compliance & Employee Relations
• Develop, review, and implement global HR policies, procedures, and internal regulations in compliance with Swiss labor law and international standards.
• Act as the Company’s representative in Swiss labor law matters, including employee relations, disputes, and interactions with external legal advisors and authorities.
• Ensure compliance with employment law, data protection, and internal governance requirements.

Global Organizational Development & Communication
• Support organizational changes, restructuring, and the creation or integration of new legal entities.
• Lead internal communication initiatives in collaboration with management to support transparency, engagement, and alignment.
• Foster a strong company culture aligned with the Company’s values and objectives.

Skills & Experience:

• University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; further HR certifications or an MBA are an advantage.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in a senior HR role, within an international industrial or technical environment.
• Proven experience in Swiss labor law, payroll, and HR administration.
• Strong experience working with HRIS and ERP systems (ideally Microsoft / Business Central).
• Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, international, and multicultural environment.
• Structured, pragmatic, and hands-on approach with strong interpersonal skills.
