For one of our international clients operating in the chemical innovation sector,

we are currently recruiting a Greenhouse & Laboratory Assistant for a temporary 1-year assignment on their site in Stein (AG).

This role is part of an R&D team working on early-stage research projects, mainly focusing on agrochemical compounds such as herbicides. The position combines greenhouse work, laboratory support, and data collection activities.

Your Responsibilities

• Support and maintain greenhouse trials and plant care
• Assist with herbicide application and monitoring
• Perform basic laboratory tasks and soil analysis
• Collect, document, and enter research data
• Support the research team in daily operational activities

Your Profile

• Education or practical experience in agriculture, horticulture, plant science, or related fields
• Hands-on, practical mindset
• Careful, detail-oriented, and reliable
• Comfortable working in greenhouse conditions (heat & humidity)
• Able to lift up to 20 kg
• Basic computer skills (MS Office)

• Fluent German and basic English required
