Located in the Vevey region, between city and countryside, the Cité du Genévrier accommodates adults with disabilities due to intellectual impairment. A multidisciplinary and multi-site structure, it offers residents a particularly harmonious living and working environment as well as a set of skills adapted to their needs and degrees. At Eben-Hézer, the Cité du Genévrier is the custodian of the moral testament of its Sister Julie Hofmann. In this respect, it considers the happiness of the residents to be central to its mission. Mission The L Amandier group is a living space welcoming eight adult residents with intellectual disabilities and associated disorders. The support offered promotes the well-being and comfort of the residents, notably through care and activities focused on the five senses. Residents regularly participate in outings, activities, and various leisure and holiday camps offered to them. To complete the team, we are looking for a social worker (M/F). Accompanying a multiply disabled person at L Amandier involves: - Providing individualized assistance in daily living activities - Being attentive and caring - Being sensitive to non-verbal communication by interacting through eye contact, touch, sounds, and daily discovery, exploration, supposition; being inventive so that the person, who may not express themselves verbally, still acts in their own way - Promoting autonomy, dignity, and the safety of residents Desired Profile - Holding a degree at HES level or a vocational diploma (CFC) as an assistant or from ASSC - Comfortable with care and non-verbal communication - Dynamic and able to take a team spirit and ethical approach - Proficient in common tools, possess a driver's license, and be willing to work irregular hours, including weekends We offer you the opportunity to participate in a project and develop in a work environment conducive to the mission and your professional growth.
