In this role, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of embedded software for wireless communication devices. **More about the role**

 

* Specification, implementation and test of wireless protocols and firmware on a resource constrained system
* Continuous integration and test driven development on specific hardware
* Programming in Python and C/C++ in embedded environment
* Creation of technical notes and documentation 
* Interfacing with internal and external partners on a technical level
* Ensuring high code quality, clean code and adequate test coverage, including maintenance and bug fixing
* Integration of new software features across systems with other development teams
* Contribution to agile development processes (planning, reviews, team rituals)

 

**More about you**

 

* BSc in Computer Science or Electrical / Electronic Engineering with strong programming skills
* Proficient in C/C++ on resource-constrained embedded systems and Python scripting
* Min. 4 years of professional experience in software engineering
* Knowledge of hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.
* Experience working with Git version control in development teams (~10 people)
* Strong experience with wireless communication protocols, including Bluetooth stack development
* Ability to adapt to a dynamic and changing environment
* Excellent command of English; French or German are an advantage
