Description
Within the Manufacturing department for one of our prestigious biopharmaceutical clients, we are seeking a SAP Manufacturing Specialist who will provide functional and operational support for processes related to SAP, mainly on the MDG (Master Data Governance) and eWM (Extended Warehouse Management) modules, in compliance with regulatory requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Main responsibilities
1 - Master data management (MDG)
- Create and update articles (SKU) and monitor associated flows.
- Act as a functional expert (SME) on the MDG module.
- Create and maintain bills of materials (BOM), recipes and production versions.
- Create, complete and monitor material documentation (information sheets and specifications).
2 - Logistics flow management (eWM)
- Manage supplies of consumables and materials in Kanban flow.
- Manage stock of materials related to production:
- Conduct inventories of production areas.
- Recreate materials in the system.
- Manage and dispose of material residues.
- Analyse and resolve interface errors between SAP and production systems (MES).
- Identify root causes of malfunctions and implement appropriate corrective actions.
3 - Project participation and continuous improvement
- Gather and formalise user requirements (URS).
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Participate in deployment, evolution and process optimisation projects.
- Support change management with users.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement actions aimed at optimising operational performance and reducing costs.
4 - Quality and compliance
- Open, manage and close quality deviations and associated investigations.
- Provide expertise during troubleshooting activities.
- Update quality documentation:
- Procedures.
- Protocols.
- Training materials.
- Access matrices.
- Initiate and manage change requests (Change Control).
- Assess the impact of changes as a business expert.
5 - Training and user support
- Develop and maintain training paths.
- Manage educational materials and qualification programmes.
- Train and support users on SAP processes and tools.
PROFILE :
Education and experience
- Higher education in Supply Chain, Production, Industrial IT or equivalent field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP in a regulated industrial environment.
- Proficiency in modules:
- MDG (Master Data Governance)
- eWM (Extended Warehouse Management)
- PP/DS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling)
