The "Parents - Woman - Child" sector of the Jura Hospital, located on the Delémont site, brings together the Maternity and Paediatrics services. Our paediatrics unit welcomes infants, children and adolescents requiring acute, scheduled or monitoring care, in an environment adapted to their needs and those of their families. Our multidisciplinary team is committed to providing comprehensive, individualised and compassionate care, placing the child and their relatives at the heart of the care.
To complete the Paediatrics team, we are looking, for a replacement and a start date immediately or to be agreed, for a:
Pediatric Nurse - Paediatrics - Delémont
Responsibilities
- Ensure care in neonatology, paediatric and child psychiatric emergencies and the inpatient medical-surgical unit.
- Support families and the patients' entourage, ensuring their well-being.
- Coordinate patient care with various health professionals.
- Assess the urgency of the situation and provide complex quality care, autonomously and under medical delegation.
- Ensure continuity of information and accuracy of handovers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Recognition by the Red Cross for foreign diplomas (or to be requested).
- Several years of experience in paediatrics would be an asset.
- Good analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent organisational skills, sense of priorities and initiative.
- Dynamic personality able to work independently.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
