Our Energy business unit is tasked with optimising all energy production and management activities, notably renewable energy production from sources such as biomass, wind, hydro, photovoltaic and geothermal. To complete our Hydro & Wind team at the Morges or Noville site, we are looking for a
Operation and Maintenance Manager "Hydroelectric" (M/F) 80% - 100%
Profile
- Federal VET diploma in a technical field complemented by a maintenance agent certificate or equivalent training
- Required experience in the operation and maintenance of industrial hydroelectric installations
- Understanding of control systems (SCADA, automation, metering)
- Experience in incident and downtime management
- Ability to work with operational data
- Good understanding of asset performance and availability issues
- Good knowledge of Swiss legislation applicable to water protection and the use of hydraulic power
- Fluent French and good knowledge of English and German
- Autonomy, rigour, efficiency and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in coordination with multiple stakeholders
- Sensitivity to safety and operational issues
- Availability for occasional interventions related to operations
Responsibilities
- Ensure the day-to-day management of hydroelectric installations (monitoring downtime, incidents, coordinating operational actions)
- Coordinate maintenance and operational activities with operators and internal stakeholders
- Guarantee the quality, consistency and reliability of operational data
- Provide direct support to asset managers and project teams on operational matters
- Contribute to monitoring the operational performance of assets and propose improvements
- Participate in structuring and continuous improvement of O&M processes
- Collaborate with digital and data functions to improve performance monitoring and digitalisation of O&M activities (supporting specialists)
