Within the Personal Insurance Department, and to strengthen the Sickness Loss of Earnings (SLE) service, we are looking for a Group Leader Sickness Loss of Earnings between 80 and 100%, based in Lausanne. The role involves both leading a team of specialised managers and managing claims files.

The tasks awaiting you:

• Provide your support and technical advice to your colleagues on cases
• Organise and coordinate the work of your group: holding team meetings, one-to-ones, organising replacement plans, etc.
• Actively participate in the weekly meetings of the service managers and work closely with the service manager as well as the other group leaders
• Train your colleagues (10 people) and ensure the proper application of management rules
• Plan, organise and control the processing of your team’s benefit cases and actively participate in the improvement and simplification of processing procedures
• Independently and proactively handle part of the claims cases in your own client portfolio (from the opening stage and in close collaboration with medical advisers and our Care Managers)
• Maintain regular contact with partners, insured persons, employers and care providers

Your profile:

• Federal insurance diploma or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience in the field of SLE benefits
• Experienced leader, recognised for your ability to mobilise teams, create a positive working atmosphere and promote staff development, while making effective decisions in demanding environments
• Native French speaker, a very good command of Italian is an asset
• Comfortable with common IT tools (MS Office)
