Who are we?

The Childhood and Youth Service (SEJ) is committed to the children and young people of the canton of Fribourg. It is the specialised cantonal service responsible for implementing policy in favour of childhood and youth and child protection.

Your missions

The position is part of a project led by the Childhood and Youth Service. This project aims to create and provide children placed in foster families with a tool that facilitates their expression and understanding of their life journey. As a project officer, you will be responsible for supporting child protection workers in foster families to explain the principle and operation of the tool. To enable you to carry out this task successfully, an ad hoc training will be provided at the start of your engagement.

Desired profile
  • You hold a university degree (BA) in the social or education field, or an equivalent domain
  • Child protection is close to your heart
  • You adapt your language to children of all ages
  • You can demonstrate sensitivity
  • Knowledge of the child care sector is a plus
  • Fluency in French with good knowledge of German (level B2 of the European standard)
