The Fribourg Detention Facility brings together the penitentiary structures of the canton of Fribourg. It is a public law entity and has legal personality. It is under the Direction of Security, Justice, and Sport, supervised by the Cantonal Council. The facility ensures the custody, accommodation, care, and treatment of detainees entrusted to it and participates in achieving the objectives assigned to the execution of freedom sentences and measures. Your missions: - Ensure a guard service and exercise constant surveillance of detainees. - Collaborate on the reintegration of detainees by positively influencing them. - Enforce discipline, order, and security among detainees. - Apply and enforce the regulations and instructions in force. Desired profile: - CFC or equivalent qualification, with several years of professional experience. - Federal certificate for detention officers from the Swiss Center of Competences in Penal Sanctions, or be willing to undergo training. - Physical and mental fitness, flexibility, and stress resistance. - Strong sense of human relations, communication, and conflict management. - Willingness to work in shifts (irregular working hours, including Saturdays and Sundays). - Willingness to intervene outside of working hours for emergencies. - Clean extracts from debt collection and criminal records. - Good knowledge of tools (MS Office). - Proficiency in French or German with good knowledge of the other language.
