Interns in professional commercial training 3+1 at 100% Mission: During this year, you will discover the specificities and riches of a municipality. We offer internship positions in various departments. Building Services This department ensures the maintenance, upkeep, and concierge services of public community facilities (schools, daycare centers, premises, community halls, community houses, parking lots, buildings). It also manages heating, sanitation, and electricity. The person will support the department's tasks and participate in the following missions: telephone and physical reception, management of key loans for community buildings, preparation of various documents and their possible dissemination across different sites in conjunction with the department's staff (managers, architects, etc.). Finance Department This department implements the financial policy of the City of Vernier and provides support in accounting and financial matters. The person will support the department's tasks and participate in the following missions: telephone reception, control of various service cash boxes, management of debtors, monitoring of liquidity transactions, processing of supplier invoices. Human Resources Department This department is responsible for recruiting new employees, managing personnel absences, and contributing to personnel management. The City of Vernier has nearly 800 employees and more than 25 apprentices. The person will support the sector and participate in the following missions: telephone and physical reception, establishment of work contracts, preparation of various work-related documents, support for the sectors of the department (recruitment, absences). Early Childhood Department This department develops various services in the field of early childhood and preschool. It promotes transition issues with schools and collaborates with active entities and partners in the community. The person will support the department's tasks and participate in the following missions: telephone and physical reception, management of places for the daycare service, updating the listings and supporting the placement processes and calculation of fees, drafting annual reports, sending monthly invoices.
