As an Academic Assistant, the key responsibilities are the following:
* Assisting the Academic Managers with activities related to the development of content and structure of all academic programmes in adherence to the current standards and trends in higher education
* Assisting the Academic department with the coordination of the student academic development cycle
* Assisting with the academic database management and with compiling statistics and academic policy documents
* Assisting with the management of the student information portal and ERP
* Be interested in the development of Training programmes
* Engaging relevant stakeholders to create awareness
Description du profil :
You are the successful applicant if you match the following qualifications:
* A Master or Doctorate degree in international relations, political science, international law, international trade and economy, or any related field
* Interest in Academic Programme development, research would be preffered
* Excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of French or any other language is an asset
* Knowledge and experience in compiling statistics/data for reports and policy documents
* Ability to communicate with judgement and diplomacy
* Passion to grow and evolve
* Ability to be organized, punctual and ability to initiate and follow-up would be preferred
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
* Experience with LMS systems - Moodle, Odoo etc would be an added advantage
* Strong computer skills (including Microsoft Office Suite and database experience)
* Ability to work independently and as a team member; cope with workload pressure and deadlines; and work in a results-based environment
* Attributes such as being responsible, committed and loyal to the cause of the institution are mandatory
