At the heart of the Western Lausanne region, the municipality of Chavannes-près-Renens, with nearly inhabitants, is experiencing a period of development and accelerated growth. To complete the Youth Sector team within the Social Cohesion Service, the municipality is looking for: A social worker in proximity - off-site at 80%. Your main missions and tasks:Within the framework of an off-site social work approach, you will intervene directly in the living spaces of young people and actively contribute to strengthening social cohesion in the community through the following activities:- Meet young people in public spaces and their living places (streets, neighborhoods, sports facilities, community socio-cultural center) to create, develop and maintain a lasting relationship of trust.- Identify, analyze, and evaluate vulnerabilities, then intervene appropriately through listening, individual support, and referral to specialized resources and services.- Support young people in their social or professional steps, in collaboration with network partners, with a view to fostering autonomy and social integration.- Design, develop, and implement, together with young people and the team, prevention and promotion projects for social cohesion, tailored to the realities on the ground.- Observe and analyze social dynamics and emerging needs of the youth to continuously adapt actions, priorities, and the youth sector.- Work closely with municipal services (delegate for social affairs, delegate for educational institutions, police, and specialized institutions), and actively participate in network work.- Participate in the institutional life of the service (team meetings, activity reports, inter-departmental meetings, project follow-up and evaluation).- Contribute to the development of the youth sector, particularly through the evaluation of ongoing projects and proposed actions.- Carry out all activities in compliance with the legal, ethical, and deontological framework of social work, ensuring confidentiality, neutrality, and respect for diversity.Your profile:- A diploma in social work or an equivalent qualification specialized in sociocultural/community work, social worker…).- Confirmed experience of at least 3 years in street and proximity work with young people (11–25 years), with a particular interest in the 16–25 age group (transition after school) and/or the 11–15 age group.- Solid understanding of social realities and dynamics specific to youth.- Ability to establish a relationship of trust and to ensure sustained follow-up with young people over time.- Capability to act in complex situations with discernment, perspective, and kindness.- Desired experience in project management and implementation with young people.- Comfort in networking and interdisciplinary collaboration.- Autonomy, reliability, and a sense of responsibility.- Strong writing skills (reports, evaluations, etc.).- Flexible hours (possible presence in the evening and on weekends).Deadline: February 15.
