It does so independently, diligently, and the local court is spread across three sites and consists of the following sections: civil court chamber, authority for the protection of children and adults (APEA), juvenile criminal court, police court, criminal court, and court for protective measures. The Regional Court of the Mountains and Val-de-Ruz is recruiting for a position of secretary at 85%.ResponsibilitiesAs a secretary for the APEA of the Regional Court of the Mountains and Val-de-Ruz, you participate in the management of the APEA which is primarily responsible for adults to pronounce protective measures, designate the persons in charge of these measures, and decide on placements for assistance purposes (articles and following of the Civil Code). Regarding minors, it takes protective measures dictated by circumstances, such as the removal of custody or parental authority, placement, or others. As part of your role, you are responsible for the preparation and processing of legal files. This includes drafting both correspondence and decisions, managing hearings and assisting them, particularly by taking minutes (either by dictation or spontaneously). You also follow up on the biennial reports submitted by the assessors as well as manage agendas and deadlines at the level. You are also responsible for sending, enforcing, and archiving the decisions rendered while serving as the first point of contact to welcome and inform those seeking justice, or other services, whether at the counter or by phone.ProfileHolder of a Federal Certificate of Proficiency (CFC) in commerce or an equivalent qualification, you have relevant prior experience for the position, ideally in the judicial field or in an office. Known for your loyalty and discretion, you are strongly aligned with the values of public service and have a sense of responsibility. An excellent command of French, typing skills, and proficiency in Office Suite are prerequisites for this position. Autonomous, you have a strong sense of initiative and know how to make decisions while respecting the boundaries of competencies. You appreciate handling complex files that require attention to detail. In addition, you stand out for your extreme reliability and are also able to quickly adapt to new environments as well as integrate into a team. Stress-resistant, you succeed, thanks to very good management of priorities, in processing a large volume of tasks and responding to multiple requests while respecting both levels of urgency and deadlines. This position also requires possession of a clean criminal record and a record of no pending charges.
